About

Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp Cares is the university’s social responsibility program that builds on the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp mission of addressing important social issues, fostering volunteerism and ethical community service.
Established in 2015, the inaugural campaign of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp Cares was during the war against ISIS; the campaign provided food supplies to the Kurdish Peshmerga and IDP camps in Duhok.
In 2022, Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp Cares was rebranded and relaunched to serve its mission.

  • 2015

    Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp students and staff provided food assistance for the Peshmerga forces in Faydah, Iraq, in their demonstration of support in the war against ISIS.

  • 2016

    Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp students visited IDP camps in Duhok and provided first aid and school supplies.

  • 2022

    Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp’s Student Government provided winter clothes to 100 children and teenagers from underprivileged families in Khanke, Domiz, Malta, Shaxke, Gire Base, and Baroshke.

  • 2022

    Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp's International Studies Department started a tree planting campaign entitled "#OurPlanetOurFuture" to raise awareness and celebrate Earth Day 2022.

  • 2022

    Students, faculty, and staff of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp cooperated with the Directorate of Duhok Dam and Artosh Company in a clean-up along the shores of the Duhok Dam.

  • 2023

    In-kind contributions by the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp Community supported survivors of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
